独立问题解析:

Task 1

Give advice to child starting to go  to school.

解析:可以参考一些学校的regulation

Sample

There are a couple of advices that  I want to give to child starting to go to school.

The  initially advice is that “Do not be late for the first class.” Us your reliable  transportation to come to class on time. Students who walk in late are not  only disrupting the teacher, they may be missing valuable information or the  best seat in the classroom. Arriving a few minutes early is a lot different than  arriving a few minutes late.

Besides, try  to sit in the front row. Not only will you be able to see and hear the teacher  better, you will also be far away from mooching students who tend to sit in  the back.

Moreover,  try to have a good attitude. Some children may feel depressed to leave the  parents and go to school alone. It is better to leave your personal problems  at home, show up with a smile, and try to stay in a positive emotion. And  thus will help you better adjust the environment.

Task 2

Electrical books and paper books,  which one do you prefer?

Electrical books

1.     Information can be  stored in digital form, which is eco-friendly.

2.     Unlike paper and ink,  digital data can be reserved forever.

3.     Many electrical devices are portable, making it easier for people to read as their wish.

Paper books

1.     Some ancient books are irreplaceable.

2.     Staring at screen harms the eyes.

3.     People are used to  reading paper books, and the habit is hard to change.

Task 1

Describe a job you have  done or you will do and explain why. Give specific reasons and details to  support your ideas.

Task 2

Do you prefer teaching primary students handwriting or  typing on computer?

Task 3

Proposal:

The students should be  in charge of the society funding issues, such as how much the funding is  given and where the funding is given to. The students can establish a  committee of their own because they know better of the societies.

Agree

1.       The students know better of the societies.

2.       Students can cultivate their leadership.

Disagree

1.       It may be unfair since the students may give the money to their  friends’ societies or their own societies.

2.       Since students are always very busy, they may not be  interested in joining the committee.

Task 4

Term: scope creep

Example:

One of his friends ran a  construction company for building houses or yards. A woman asked his friend  to make wooden fences all round her yard at the very beginning. When his  friend almost finished the work, the woman asked his friend to paint her  fence white. His friend explained he was only responsible for building not  for painting. But the woman thought it involved painting. They argued.  Finally his friend painted the fence but felt unhappy.

Task 5

Problem: The new roommate  is a nice girl and she goes to bed early every day. The speaker prefers to do  things at night.

Solution 1

Follow the roommate’s  schedule but she’s not the kind of morning person.

Solution 2

Go to the library at the  night but the dormitory is more comfortable and convenient.

Task 6

The forest fire actually  benefits some certain animals.

1.       It makes it easier for predators to find food. For example,  when all the animals are escaping from the fire, wild turkeys would stay near  the fire and spray the insects.

2.       It provides the young animals with accommodation. For  example, the chemical given off by some trees are harmful to the beetles.  However, after the fire the trees are dead so that the beetles can lay eggs  in the tree. The larvae can find food in the dead tress as well.

解析:

Scope creep: 范围蔓延是一个术语,用以定义在未经范围变更管理过程而进行的针对项目的一系列小型的范围变更

(also  called requirement creep and feature creep) in project managementrefers  to uncontrolled changes or continuous growth in a project’sscope.  This can occur when the scope of a project is not properly defined, documented,  or controlled. It is generally considered harmful.

Typically, the scope  increase consists of either new products or  new features of already approved product designs, without corresponding  increases in resources, schedule, or budget. As a result, the project team  risks drifting away from its original purpose and scope into unplanned additions.  As the scope of a project grows, more tasks must be completed within the  budget and schedule originally designed for a smaller set of tasks.  Accordingly, scope creep can result in a project team overrunning its  original budgetand  schedule.
